METHOD & INDEPENDENCE

Our method: evidence, limits, and corrections

The question is not just whether a project works. It is what the evidence shows, who it applies to, and what remains unanswered.

What this site is for

SwitchToAny is an independent field guide to cross-platform game technology. Our first edition covers D2R Mobile: its status, necessary conditions, and technical approach. We turn scattered sources into a decision path so you can understand a route before investing your time. We are not affiliated with Nintendo, Apple, Blizzard, or the projects covered.

The site name does not promise that any Switch game will run. We provide no game assets, keys, or firmware, and no universal support list without evidence.

Who reported it, and what actually happened?

These are separate questions. Each evidence record names both its source type and the stage it can establish:

  • Source inspection: what documentation or code contains at a specific revision. This is not a runtime result.
  • Maintainer-reported: an observation attributed to the project, with its stated environment and untested areas preserved.
  • Community-reported: an independent original report with identifiable conditions. Reposts do not create more independent samples.
  • Tested by SwitchToAny: reserved for work we actually perform and document. The first edition contains no records in this category.
  • Unknown or conflicting: an explicit gap, rather than an invitation to choose the most optimistic account.

Building, installing, booting, reaching a menu, gameplay, sustained play, and save recovery are distinct results. Completing one stage does not certify the next. One run on one device does not certify an entire product family.

Keep the version attached

The first edition was checked on 14 October 2026 against D2R Mobile v1.0.10, commit 2e7177c08048ebf9335fea102cbd1357eaf92832. We link to a fixed commit or release tag wherever possible. A source-check date is not a game-test date. If an observation date is unknown, we leave it unknown.

When sources conflict, we preserve their scopes. A closed issue does not prove a fix is in the release you use. A release note announcing a fix does not establish verification on every device.

Updates and corrections

A new release, changed system requirement, credible correction, or moved source may trigger review. Dates change for substantive edits, not to make a page appear fresh. Major corrections should identify the date, original statement, revised statement, and supporting source. There are no published correction entries in this first edition.

If you find a problem, identify the article, paragraph, original source, and any public version or reproduction details. A public submission channel has not yet been opened. Please do not send editorial corrections to unrelated upstream support channels. Reader material will never be published automatically without review.

Any future feedback should exclude keys, credentials, game files, and unredacted personal logs. Technical feasibility, content rights, and distribution eligibility are separate questions. This site does not make legal determinations.

Small pages. Minimal data.

Articles, navigation, and sources are static HTML and work without JavaScript. The optional setup guide processes choices only in your browser. It reads no device details or files, stores no results, and sends no answers to a server. It checks a few necessary conditions; it cannot test compatibility.

We add no accounts, comments, advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. External sites have their own policies. Hosting providers may keep access logs. These statements describe this site’s code; actual provider logging, retention, and added features depend on the hosting configuration and are not independently verified here.
